Hi Janet,
This is a lovely poem and such a beautiful photo of a rainbow to accompany it. I decided to use this space and poem to congratulate you on being chosen for In The Spotlight this month! That's such a nice honor, and you deserve it, from the writings I've read in your treasure chest here at Our Echo. You seem to be a very optimistic person who does see the rainbow after the storm.
Main thing I noticed and appreciated about your Spotlight bio piece is that you give credit to God and share such a heartwarming testimony to His continual goodness.
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.

Thanks, Sandi. A scripture comes to mind from your comment. When Jesus was speaking to the disciples in the Gospels, (not sure which one), many were leaving following Christ because of persecution--before He went to the cross. Jesus asked them, "Will you leave me, too?" One of the disciples, probably Peter, responded, "To whom shall we go? You have to words of eternal life." Without God, there would be nothing to write about. Another verse says, "There's nothing new under the sun." I think that's in Proverbs or Ecclesiastes. I'm a bit rusty and my Bibles are packed for the move, so I can't look them up, but that's how I feel about Him. He's the center of all things. My life revolves around Him like spokes about a wheel hub. He, like that hub, keeps everything in place. He deserves all the credit for anything good. Thanks for commenting. Janet

Hi again, Janet,
Thank-you for responding to my earlier comment here. Are you moving to another state?
I LOVE your remark about your life revolving around God like the spokes on a wheel hub! Fantastic analogy!
Take care,
Sandi in FL.

Hi Sandi,
Not moving out of New York State, just closer to town. Without a car, living in the "burbs" is a tough walk. I'm moving into a different senior complex with easy access to shopping and community transit. With gas prices and the economy, I felt it was a wise decision. I'll miss "nature" that is so prevalent here: deer in the back yard, bird feeders behind each apartment, etc. Several of the tenants here are moving closer to convenience-in fact there are 4 of us moving about the same time to the same place, so I'll already have friends there.

That means I'll not have internet access until I get things arranged with a different provider, but I'll try to keep everyone posted via Our Echo.

Thanks again for all your kind comments.
