Everyone is more than just statistics. That is why I write family histories not genealogy. Gail

So glad you'll write down the stories for future generations in your family. I'm forever pushing people to write family stories. And just think, they'll always be right here at OurEcho whenever your family wants to see them.

I remember hearing my mom and dad telling stories when I was young, but then I was more interested in playing with my cousins, than listening to the adults. Now I wish I had paid more attention. Someday, my children and grandchildren will want to know more, too. BJ

You are so right, BJ...those who come after us will someday be curious about their forefathers. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your family's past, before the military photo was made during the 1940s. Please write more when you hear more stories about Otis.
