Very interesting look into an officer's day. I work in the Circuit Clerk's office in a small town. I understood well the comment "no place to hide". BJ

Such keen observation skills you have, sir. Learned, no doubt, from many years on the job. You've written an ordinary human interest story in a very interesting way...it does make one wonder what the future held for those two boys. ~ Susan

Some of my favorite stories are of law enforcement. Well written. You must have been an excellent officer. I always wanted to be an officer of the law. I took training, took the civil service exam, scored the highest of 26 people. The police chief hired his nephew, who had the lowest score. I later found out many of that force are bad, I'm glad they didn't hire me. I loved your story. Great writing. I'll read more of your stories. David
