Glad you had a memorable Mother's Day. You certainly deserve it after raising such a great brood. The pictures are lovely, but the kids who made them possible are gems. You're a blessed lady. Janet

The flowers that Cindy planted look great. Good to see you're getting started with your new camera. Maybe it will inspire more writing/photo combinations.

Sounds to me like a good mother raises loving children who have not forgotten the many nice things their mom did for them. You're a lucky woman, Gail, but I also think your children are, as well. A belated Happy Mother's Day.

Oh, yes, we kids are the lucky ones for sure! Can't tell you how much it means to be able to come for advice and hear your stories and share mine...love just being "up the street" after so many years of being thousands of miles away.

Great story of your Mother's Day week, and you're coming along splendidly with the camera! Photos truly enhance a tale. Yes, as others have said, you are lucky to have such loving children, and they are lucky to have such awe-inspiring parents! Carol

Dear Gail,
A WONDERFUL Mom does deserve to be remembered, loved and cherished. I think children are blessed when they have loving parents. People normally always say it the other way around ! But it's the years spent using that apron for wiping a tear, having that finger ready for a tiny hand to hold, a patient ear to listen and waiting arms to run home to that make children want to retrace their steps homeward on Mother's Day. Glad your day was special. Missed my Mom.

Hi Gail,
What a joy to read about your most recent Mother's Day, and the obvious love that your grown children and grandchildren have for you. The colorful pictures of the various flowers are beautiful, and the little lion pulling the wagon that was made by Owen years ago is a delight to look at! I'm sure you treasure it greatly.
Your post brings a genuine *S*M*I*L*E* to my face this early Monday morning.
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.

Great story Gail of your special mothers day, what a wonderful family, and what a great mother you are. Memories such as these make life so special. Your photo`s were great, must try and use the camera a little more myself. Having an empty nest myself now, I must take more time to write and read the many lovely posts on our echo. Well done, enjoyed so much. God bless. Kathleen

When a person write about what they know best it always comes out great. After being a mother for 62 years I have plenty of experiences to write about. As ever, Gail
