The title does indeed fit your poem, and the lesson it teaches is a lasting one for all generations.
If we do not stand firm for something, we will fall for anything.

This poem or yours reminded me of the rhythm of Rudyard Kipling's poem "If" which I like very much. You are a very talented writer, and I am waiting for more, now that I've read all your posts to Our Echo.
