I have a box filled with memories of my mother. After her death, it was hard to open it without tears, now I'm able to smile while sifting through the memorabilia. I enjoyed your poem. BJ

Hi BJ, Such boxes are a great idea. Grief and memories are strange companions. In the beginning, memories can be painful, but ultimately, they are very wonderful and healing. Glad you have such a box. We all need those kind of memories to inspire us to remember what is special about a person or a situation--sometimes they can keep us going. Thanks for commenting.
