A delightful story of beachcombing! Nicely written, brings the reader in on the adventure, and ties up nicely with returning to lodging.

How I wish I had been with you. But thanks for letting me be there through your words.
That reminds me to get my Kansas Glass memoir out and work on it.

That was a day to remember, Sis. You brought it all back--the color and feel of Skye on that isolated beach. Wonder why I didn't save my beach glass (when I save absolutely everything else under the sun!). Karen

I too wish I'd been on that trip. But maybe someday it will still happen. Strange how the water takes something broken & makes it pretty, giving it new life.

Here's a comment from a new friend (from an email): "Thanks so much for sharing your beach glass story. I loved it! You have a gift as a writer. Have you ever thought of writing a book or a short story?"

Hi Virginia, each of those little treasures have their own story to tell.
When and where did they start their journey and who might have held them in the past. If you keep and care for them you might even coax them to speak. Imagination can give voice to all things if we are patient and listen.

Take Care
Tom
