A perfect posting for this Mother's Day week-end. Poignant and touching.

Veronica, this remembrance is lovely. I'm sure God listens to your words and smiles down on you and all who honor their mother...as we know He does His.

TY, my mother is underneath the grass a short way from my home..their she has a place for me also plus my siblings..My home has always been in the High Sierras where i cannot decide if i wish to return there for the rest of my days to spend with my disabled daughter...i would love to be put down underneath the pine trees and with the white snow covering in winter times..it is so beautiful with flowers in the winter snow..TY. for the memory, georgie~girl

Veronica,

Nice poem. I really enjoyed it. You can do something I never could do -- write poetry.

Guess what the background is to my picture? Donegal is further north, but that western coast of Eire is something else!

Keep writing!
