You write so well it seems like the truth instead of fiction. I feel your pain as you write. Well done, Gail

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment, Gail. Reading this early in the morning is a great start to my day.

I read this thinking it's a true story about events that had happened to you, and only AFTER the ending and seeing the "story type" did I realize it's fiction.
Great piece of writing - fiction or non-fiction!
More, MORE!
Sincerely,
Sandi in FL.

You have put a voice to what every refugee or displaced person must feel. Home is definitely where the heart is and we all yearn for a place to retreat to, to really call our own home.
Thank you, once again, for a fine piece of writing, MVJ Simon.
Bless you ~ Susan
