Your poem is filled with hope, because of HIM. I heard a Singaporean pastor, Joseph Prince, just teach on this: the mast of the ship is the hope which causes faith (substance of things hoped for) to kick in -- faith that God will send the wind to push against the sails and their billowing will enable the ship to reach its destination. We are so blessed that we can trust God to bring us through pain, suffering and troubles...in a victorious way. You've thrown a lifeline to readers with this entry to Our Echo. Thank you.

Hi Susan. Glad you could stop by. The pastor's message was truth for sure. It's important for us all to remember to "fix our eyes" on Him. When we look at circumstances, we get discouraged and fearful. He brings the peace back into our lives and gives us hope to keep moving in the right direction. Thanks for commenting. Janet
