Great to get a firsthand report on the earthquake in the Midwest, BJ. And a good way to do it--using the quotes. I enjoyed reading it and didn't mind one bit that I missed the experience. Occasional tornados here in Kansas are quite enough for me!

Unfortunately, we see a tornado now and then, too. I'm not a fan of those either. Thanks for the comment. BJ

I have experienced a number of earthquakes. Most of them in Tokyo, Japan over a four year period. I learned they are not all the same and some more frightening than others. The last two I have been through were here in New York State, and I slept unaware through them both.

Oh Boy, BJ, I can ever relate having gone thru a 6.8 two summers ago just as my pooch, Corky and I, were watching the news between our toes. But it was the after shocks for two days that REALLY sent us into tailspins. Well done girl......Kathe
