A lovely tribute to a brother who was loved. The words tell that story well. Our loved ones do live on in the warmth of memories.

Tom

I am so sorry to read about the passing of your brother.
I know a lot about grief. Four years ago I lost my first wife. I have a lot of stories on the site related to grief.
Someone emailed me tonight asking if they could use one of them in a book.
The story can be found here.
Perhaps your sister-in-law may get something from this.

"Semper Fi" from the mom of a 39 yr. old Marine who served in the first Gulf War. And "Adeste Fideles" (O Come, All Ye Faithful") when it comes to remembering Ray. You've penned a fine tribute to the brother you loved so.
God bless you, Tom. I smiled reading your post. ~ Susan in Georgia

Hi Tom,
No doubt Ray would be happied up after reading your loving tribute to him. It hurts deeply to lose a loved one, and brothers are so special. (I lost my only brother in 1986.) Thanks for sharing a few precious memories of your brother with us readers. Sounds like he was a fine gentleman with a splendid sense of humor, and such fun to spend time with as a child AND as an adult.
Keep on keeping on,
Sandi in FL.

" Only the Irish can laugh with tears in their eyes..." So beautiful a tribute, you got me to do so as well ! Thankyou, Tom. "God gave us our memories so we may have roses in December." Praying you always find roses. God bless.
