Well done Kansas friend, wish I had wrote it. The crocuses are blooming. Gail

Hi Gail,

I haven't seen any crocuses yet, but our tulips have poked their heads up an inch or two. They're on the way!

Spring must come early in kansas. Here in the catskill Mountains in the NorthEast, it has been cold, windy and snowing. I had to blow and shovel snow each of the last two days and will have to do so again tomorrow. An ice storm is forecast for Tuesday. We are looking for the lamb at the end of March because it came in here like a lion. Crocuses and Tulips here are at least three weeks away and maybe more. I fully anticipate at least one Nor'easter before the month is out.

Oh, to live south enough to see spring actually arrive in March! It surely doesn't happen here in Winnipeg. By early May we are experiencing what you are now. Enjoy your spring and March, Nancy, as it sounds you will. Happy St. Patrick`s Day and Happy Easter, or should I say Hoppy Easter. :)

Hi Nancy,
Loved reading your musings. I haven't seen hide nor hair of new growth peeking out of that still frozen dirt. I'm sure looking forward to seeing tulips and daffodils. After this winter, I'm rethinking the sanity of my move north. Come on spring! BJ

Oh, Nancy, a wonderful, wonderful tribute to spring! I especially like the phrases "skip across rivers, stir up the sandtraps . . . create havoc with hairdos and swirl dirtpiles," which create pictures in our minds. Just what words are supposed to do. Well done. Carol

Hello Nancy, you can sure write a neat story, almost like being one of those elements, ringing so true. Wonderful writing. Richard LP

Beautiful as always, Nancy. Our March was more wintery than spring-like. April is going better. Loving the daffodils! Jo Doofe
