Hello Wanda......So tickled to see I'm not the only one holding home and hearth together by myself this past year after 53 great years. It's been such a challenge and nearly all you have mentioned is a ditto with me as well, incl. the furnace problems. Thank God for out children! But, you'll be happy to know you don't have a little ranch and animals to look after or a few snowstorms on my 7000' Montana mountain. Love it and them and plan to stay until they carry me out. Tell us some more, your written words are wonderful. Kath

Wanda, you are a testament of courage and perseverence over adversity and loss. I admire your energy, your gumption, and the fact that you didn't give up on life yourself when your husband passed away. It's nice to read how someone copes, and you have done it well. Life is too short to waste time not living it.
