They are indeed magnificent creatures and should remain a part of our heritage. That he understood he will remain unmolested at Broken Tree Ranch as long as your other critters are unmolested is a blessing for all.

Magnificent animal. I was looking at that wolf right with you and holding my breath. I also understand the deal. I made the same deal with my wild cougar.

Very frightening turn of events since a bear tore Sweet pea up pretty bad. Hard to hide her scars when standing at show, but she became the Nat. Champ nonetheless. You take your chances homesteading in THEIR COUNTRY....K

Kathe, my heart was literally pounding away as I wondered where this story was going to lead. Glad the wolf got scared away. Ken did the right thing. Wild animals belong in the wilds where we can admire them from afar. A top-notch story telling from you, once again.

I will never look or think of wolves in the same light again. Loved every word and glad I can go back and share them with others.
Great Job Kathe.

Kathe - a fitting finale to your wolf trilogy. Your descriptors had me racing ahead in anticipation of a disaster about to happen. Fortunately Ken saved the day and I was quickly relieved on behalf of all parties concerned.

Kathe, As always your heart and Ken's were in the right place. I do so love your stories about encounters with the wild creatures.
