I suffered many hangovers in the first half of my military career. I finally wised up while in Thailand in the late '60's but remember well those throbbing headache hangovers. We found that aspirin is no where near as helpful as alkaseltzer and black coffee. That coke isn't very good for you either. You might better stick to water or fruit juice. Have a Happy new year.

Oh my, Betty, what an experience! Your essay had us right there with you the whole way. I had experienced that jack-hammer head before deciding the imbibing the night before was not worth the aftermath! Glad your son's accident was not worse. Carol
