Some nice memories, Mike. All those memories make us the people we are today. The one I could relate to very well was the first one where you and your brothers opened the gifts. My brother and I (at ages 4 and 8 perhaps) got up in the middle of the night, turned the tree lights on and looked to see what Santa had brought. Santa's gifts were always left unwrapped. We knew we couldn't touch the other gifts until Mom and Dad got up, so we huddled together on the sofa and waited. Soon, my mom came out to the living room, scolded us with a blistering tirade and sent us back to bed, crying all the way. Then in the morning she and Dad had to wake us up as we were asleep long after our usual time to get up. Yes, memories are true treasures.
Merry Christmas to you and Ginny,
Nancy

Ah yes, Mike, our Christmas memories become ever more poignant as the years pass, and we lose the earthly presence of more of our loved ones. Those memories keep us going, and keep those loved ones alive in our hearts. Carol
