Love it all over again. Well done. I especially loved the very last line about God walking down the stairs of Heaven with a baby in his arm. Beautiful image.

Kathe - Your story reminds me of the days of my youth when we celebrated Christ in Christmas without the fear of not being politically correct. It bothers me greatly these days when store employees have to greet their customers with "Happy Holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas". I belatedly thank you and Ken for doing so much to make so many Children's and parents' Christmases so special and a lifelong remembrance for all that participated.

Thank you Don. No matter how much work it always was, there was twice as much joy in all we did, with kids especially. Watch for one more story coming out soon. Kathe

I sincerely doubt anyone has ever enjoyed their donkeys, and had them enjoyed by others nearly as much as you and ken did with yours.

It must have been a joy to have known your family took part in bringing "The Holy Family" to life for people to enjoy. After all the doney held a big part in their lives that night!

Another story you brought to life for those of us who look forward to hearing the tales of your montain life!

Your memories entertain us Kathe and add pictures to your tales.

Thank you for adding the wonderful photos! Nothing like a donkey named Smart Ass in a Christmas nativity scene - hey, we all know God has a sense of humor - he must to put up with his children. Lovely story and you should be proud to have created magical memories for those children.

Kathe dear,
How I loved reading this story of yours tonight, and as I did, yearned to have been right there amid all the holiday activities. The photos you add always bring the story to life!
Merriest Christmas, and a healthy, holy New Year ahead,
