A well written and researched story and to have such a family connection is incrediable. Your story and an annual Christmas tree has kept those memories alive for 90 years. Gail

Each year they have a service in Halifax for the memory of those lost.
They had a couple of people there who survived the event. They are both in their 90's. One of them still remembers it. He was 6. A lady that was there was only about a year old at the time.
