Depending on the poem, after reading it through once or twice I like to sing it. Your poem has a very nice tone.

I know the feeling, keep trying and not giving up on something you want so bad. The results are sad in this Tanka, as it can be in a persons life. I like the way you compare the birds difficult situation, with some peoples problems. Thats why I like the saying "two are better than one" in the Bible , than going it alone, as we need help to lift one another up to succeed in all of lifes " ups and downs".I Ponder over your writings, as they bring so many thoughts to my mind, feelings and make me think of whats actually being said. Keep up your thought-provoking writings.
Love You! Cadie

Neat work, nicely, tightly and thoughtfully penned.
The parrell is defined and well taken.
You were able to extend the life of the work by provoking thought from the reader, good job.
