I was very touched by your write Bill. My husband served in Iraq from 2003-2004 and is now on his second tour. The poem brought tears to my eyes.

Warmest regards,
Stacy

Oh my goodness...from a boy to a man in a matter of weeks...seeing too much, experiencing more than one ought. Thank God that Sam came back. Prayerfully, with time and love, he will be able to regain the smile in his eyes. My USMC son returned, also... from Desert Storm...with a maturity that war brings. He is fine today, and how grateful I am to be able to say that. Many prayers accompany our loved ones who serve our country.
Congratulations on receiving this honor for your writing, Bill.
