I enjoyed the story about those rough cowboy's and your gentile mother. A memory worth remembering.

Good story. Tells a lot about your mother's internal character. And my hat's off to the cowboys who righted their wrong.

Just a delightful family history memory! I love her idea of going out there with the repair tools, and the resolve to stand her ground, and communicate what needed to be done. No telling what might have occurred if the cowboys hadn't seen the light! Carol

EXCELLENT. Gotta love a woman that stands for what is right--regardless. I noticed a typo in the 6th paragraph you might want to catch. It reads, "...not to complain (the) the ranch owner." I make them often. Thanks for sharing a story about this strong woman. Janet

Who doesn't love a spunky woman. One of those wonderful memories that makes life worth living. And very well written. David
