Thanks for your response, Fred. The really sad thing about all this is that prejudice against others due to race, whatever, still exists, in this so-called modern world of ours. As my long-ago boss and pastor explained, none of us are perfect, and we can only hope that our attitude and actions will influence others to be more tolerant and understanding. Carol

Fred, first you need to make your stories a bit shorter. Growing up we did not come across this, there was only a few blacks in our school, we were very friendly with them. My mom who had nine children also took in two black boys from the city each summer, we treated them like our own brothers. She had a time getting to be excepted into many places at that time. I just find it very offensive. It seems to be getting worst. This is the parents fault, it is all in your up bringing.
