I love your title and I remember 5 sparkling circles, Owen's, Susan's, Ginger's, Cindy's and Karen's. Shannon was only a month old then. Great memories.

Very nice indeed. I think New Hampshire has been very inspiring for you this summer! Carol

I enjoyed 4th of July celebrations we had in the country but not in the city and this year was the worst. Everybody is complaining about the price of gasoline but boy they had lots of money to burn up every day since the city let them start buying & shooting them off on the 27th of June. Really enjoyed our memories. Mom

My memories of July 4th are so similar to yours, Virginia, except I'm unsure of the "Ladyfingers" -- what are they, some type of firecracker? Sparklers remain my fave because we could write in the air with them, until the last teensy sputter. I enjoyed reading your memory-making of past 4ths. And the photo of corn, oh my! Reminded me of an old quotation, author unknown: Pass the butter, I smell corn!"

I didn't like the bigger firecrackers, too loud and scary. Ladyfingers were quite short and made a smaller bang.
