Good story, great punchline. I'd like to have learned more about the mission mission and the Pilot's background, but it's a good story.

Thanks for your reply. I never met the chopper pilot, but the LT. and I flew together often and still meet for coffee. Prior to the time of this story I had left the department for a flying job training pilots for the Air Force.
