It goes farther than that. A couple of years ago a college kid shaved his head and offered to have stenciled on his head the name of a company for $2,000. He was taken up on it too.

Thanks. It's surprising that some greedy pro hasn't offered to be tattoed for profit. Or maybe someone has. That's certainly the logical next step.

What's ironic is that so many former players sued, went on strike or took other measures to shed the "slave" mentality of the league and owners. Looks like "the more things change, the more they remain the same", eh? Good piece and I love the animal twist on the end!
