You are an absolute hoot !
Keep 'em coming, my friend.
75's not old, says a 72er ! LOL
Love you and let's get some more on paper - I will continue to live my days vicariously through your stories.

The thing that most amazes me about your stories is that I can just see what you're doing. Love your details. Wanda West

Well Granny Hook, everything I wanted to say has been addressed in all the other comments.*lol* However I do have to say you are a role model to me, and thinking of you on my worst of days perks me up and says 'Get Goin' Gir'-Think What Granny Would Say!' and I step up to the plate just as my role model would.
I so love, being a Newfoundlander, your self-deprecating humor, as Newfoundlanders are known for theirs. And I do it all the time. Great story, beautiful child and a gorgeous, funny, well adjusted woman holding her. What could be better I wonder!!
Thanks for another great job Kathe!
Just ask for diamonds, they can fit into a gift card!*lol*

You're so right about the blasted packaging! Especially that clear plastic junk that looks as if it would pop apart, instead it requires an exacto knife. Great story, I hope you have the best birthday EVER and that you are showered with gift cards.
Hugs,
Kathy

Kathe, I can so relate to this one! I just turned 58 and each new day brings some kind of new pain or "tweak" on my aging body. What can you do but be happy you're still around, aches & pains and all. You inspire me to keep smiling and not to take myself too seriously. Thanks for your humor...it's contagious!

Once again Kathe, you've given the reader a glimpse into your daily life's challenges and taken an innocuous task that for most us is routine and shared your personal issues with its complexity. At the same time, you've been able to see and write about the comical aspects of the situation. Guess that's why I love your inspirational writings. You continue to be a refreshing and surprisingly candid writer that inspires me whenever I have the privilege of reading one of your treasured stories.
