I enjoyed this story. There are times when it's pretty nice to be part of the "older generation" Seems that things were a bit more real in the days we were young and single.

How right you are. Their very appearance, conduct, and manorisms always give a gentleman, (and oft times not so gentlemanly) away at first meeting. If they looked and spoke and smelled like my dad, I was smitten. Great recall from a great story teller......Kathe

Sounds very familiar Veronica as I came up in much similar times. They were good old days, and for sure a way to get to know people on the dance floor. What a different world we live in now, some things changed for the better of course, but also some things gone, that meant so much to us. Great piece of writing Veronica. God bless, Kathleen Blanchfield.
