I've got the same problem. Watching a game right now. in fact. As a former good field-no hit infielder, I agree with you about pitchers. But I don't like home run bashers dominating the game, either, But then I never managed to hit many of those myself.

Watching ball games sure plays hob with my writing time. Enjoyed your essay and I don't like the pitchers dominating the game. Boring! Gail
