How different from the life of a farm boy. There was no such liesure time for us as August was the time for the second cutting of the hay crop to be cut and brought into the barn for the coming winter. August was also filled with the harvest of tomato's, new potato's, cabbage and squash. We squeezed in a swim at the end of the day but that was about it.

It's a lot different than farming, Fred.
Of course, my father wasn't a fisherman. My Grandfather and uncles were the fishermen. I suppose if my father had been a fisherman, I would have been made to help clean and salt fish.
