I too can recall a Christmas during one of our frequent mountain snowstorms when we resorted to the fireplace and roasting hotdogs instead of a turkey dinner. It's the one we always remember most, just as you have in your wonderful story. Kathe

Splendidly written tale of truly a Christmas to remember! It's poignant that we need something to go wrong for us to realize what we miss, in the midst of an electric, electronic, age--conversation, story-telling, communicating.
