Hi Kathleen,

I had the great good fortune to see the Ring of Kerry in June of this year. We spent the night at a lovely B&B in Kenmare and very much enjoyed seeing that very nice town. We spent 12 days in Ireland, and I became acquainted with the land where 3 of my great-grandparents were born. They emigrated to America in the 1800's. It meant a lot to me to walk the land where they were from.

Dear kathleen,

Yes, I experienced going around the Ring of Kerry in 1969. It was like stepping into a major painting of mountains, lakes, and old ponies taking tourists for a ride on what ever path the pony felt like taking at a particulat time of day. And then there is the Jaunting Car for people who don't want to be on ponies who stop for a long nibble at the side of the lake, and maybe take a fast gallop down the narrow trails to the quaint village of Killarney. How are the book-festivals in the book town of Graiguenamanagh coming along? All the best. Keep writing and posting. Veonica
