My sympathy to your extended family on the loss of this young man. Words convey so little of what is truly felt, and yet they are important, too.

A very nice tribute to a brave young man. We should all remember our troops in our prayers daily.

Charlie is my nephew. Thank you for writing a very heartfelt tribute to him. Charlie was very special to all of us. Our whole family is devastated and I want to thank you again for this tribute to him.

I never knew Charlie, but my niece and her sons cared very much about and for him. All I was doing was conveying their pain while at the same time trying to bring awareness to all, the kind of people who believe in our country and what we are trying to do. I am a retired military veteran and returned from another war where the uniform I wore was spat upon by the same generation whose politicinans are now undermining those young patriots while their rhetoric claims to be in support. I want to show people the fine young men who are serving them and not getting the support or the thanks they so richly deserve.

You are more than welcome. It was the least I could do.
Rose gave me the details and without her help I could not have done it.

Thankyou, but Rose did not lose one of her sons. He was a friend of her sons and of hers. He was like a member of the family.

Charlie, sounds like he was a very special person. It is so sad he had to die protecting his country. This war is so senseless to me. I pray every night for our young men over there, that God will keep them safe. Very sorry for all who knew him.

What a wonderful tribute to a very brave young man. You've reminded all of us to say a prayer for our troops out there fighting for their country. BJ
