I always thought Selective Hearing was only a male trait, especially males who are husbands! Now, you've squashed my theory to pieces. Thanks for the chuckles this morning.

If I didn't know better I would think you were writing about me. Never thought I was the champ but just muddle-headed. Thanks for a funny memory. Gail

This story really gave me a chuckle, as I do the same thing all the time. I am able to shut out television commercials for example, and I also shut out my wife when I consider what she is telling me about is inconsequential prattle. It does get me in trouble sometimes because she sometimes sandwiches in things I do need to know, and if I am shutting it out I don't get it. That will later result in her being exasperated as she says, " I told you before! Why didn't you listen?"
