Too funny, Maria! Isn't it fascinating how an incident that would seem to be a bad memory, turns into a funny one! Good story. Carol

Thank you Carol... this one has been simmering on the back burner of my mind for years, and I finally got it down. We can't forget these family memories!

Maria, A great "family history" piece! My daughter just finished telling me a similar giggling story. She tried to ride a horse but couldn't stop giggling because she just kept bouncing off the saddle. Yours brought back a few drive-in memories of my own....which will remain mine. Thanks too for the kind comments on my Out of the Pan story. Jim

Ah yes, the drive-in movies, which in my day were mere parking spots for necking to the scratchy sounds eminating from those horrid speakers. Later, we took the kids in their PJs so we could have a summer's evening out with no necking. Kathe

Hi Maria,
What an amusing story! I faintly recall drive-in theaters back in my youth, and wish they were still abundant, but I haven't seen one in many years.
As for the skunk, hopefully its horrible stench was erased with a good car washing!
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.

Hi Sandi,
Well, you know what they say -- truth is definitely stranger than fiction, and my life is a testament to that! Thanks for taking the time to write. I appreciate your comments.
