All Fools Day or not, I'm simply basking in a lovely warmish feeling all over reading the account of your parent's love story. You told it so brilliantly, I felt myself right there. Delightful work Kathy. Do it again!

Beautiful story. Sounds like some relationships are simply meant to be. Whoever said that "truth is stanger than fiction" was right on the money.

Butler County is still the same. We have gardened for many years and canned everything we didn't eat or give to neighbors, friends, our kids or sell at the local Farmer's Market.
Keep writing, I can't wait to read your next story.
