You'll love it. If you ever want to visit Canada, I can tell the best places on the east coast. The west coast has the mountains and speaks for itself.

A humorous, yet informative piece. I had no idea July 1st was a holiday in Canada. I just happen to have a box of mac & cheese in the pantry, leftover from my granddaughter's visit, and a beer in the fridge. Cheers! BJ

Thanks, BJ. Fire up the grill, open that beer, and try to figure out how to BBQ mac & cheese

Hi Mike,
I have several friends who are native Canadians and live six months of the year here in south Florida (winters), then go back up to their Canadian homes for the hot, humid spring and summer months. Getting to know them has also made me aware of Canada Day and what a gorgeous, clean country it is, although I've only seen photos. You did a lot of good research to share such interesting facts about your native land, and even though I know you're proud of your Canadian heritage, I'm glad you now reside in America!
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.
