Your descriptions make me want to hunt up each of the books you listed & read them all. Your title "Love Between the Covers" is great. I do most of my reading at night in bed. My 20 pound cat, Max, can't settle down for the night until he jumps up on my bed & nearly drapes himself across me, balancing himself on top of me as I lay on my side, nudges my arm & book away so he can kiss me goodnight.

I love to read in bed too. My husband always says "you'll ruin your eyes." I just respond they're already ruined as I've worn glasses since 4th grade. Bed is just a cozy place to curl up with a good book.

Same thing with old movies (many made from great old books). What is it? I can get lost in the arms of wonderfully handsome actors of the past and the great acting of their female counterparts. Am I showing my age? I hope so........Kathe
