You have such a knack for telling a story in a way that allows us to "see" the sights you write about...the Peddler and his wares, your hunting for discarded bottles to swap for an RC and moonpie, the welcome break in the week when the Peddler's truck horn sounded and the folks were able to buy supplies...all are vividly "seen" from the words you've arranged. Very good, Mr. Jones.
