Oh Bonnie, what a sad story this is. I hope all readers will go out and pick up a carbon monoxide detector if they don't already have one. It's a small price to pay for the safety of our loved ones. BJ

BJ--
That is the message we want to convey. Those detectors should be in every home, cottage, cabin, trailor,or any place people are gathered in enclosed areas-especially with the burning of fossil fuels.
We know we have made strides, but we need more awareness and through Mitch's loss, maybe more lives will be saved.
Thanks BJ!
Bonnie.

Bonnie, this is indeed a very sad and tragic story. What a terrible way to have to get the message of dire necessity in having a carbon monoxide detector in all inhabited living quarters. I am also into a private website Room. Would you mind if I was to post this story in there as well. There are about 50 members, and needless to say, when each of these members read something like this, it will definitely have the domino effect in spreading on to their friends and aquaintances.
Thank you,
Paul

Definitely, post it by all means. We need to get this campaign for CO detectors to as many people as we can.
Thanks,
Bonnie.

Bonnie,

This is yet another wonderful story, an update, if you will, on the aftermath of Mitchell's death. They are doing positive things to help others in this, and through this terrible tragedy they, and you all have endured, lives will be saved.
I published this along with the original story you'd written about Mitch, "Patchwork Memories" at Writer's Block. I hope others will come and read this poignant account of love at work in the midst of the tragic circumstances we sometimes have to face in life. Good work. And God Bless,
