Father's Day will be the first worst day you'll miss him but let your memories carry you throught the day. Good story of your Dad. It is good you can write about him so soon. As ever, Gail

We all know we'll have to face losing our parents one day, but it doesn't make it any easier. My dad died 12 yrs ago, and I still wish I could send a card and call and wish him a Happy Father's Day. Nicely written story.

A very touching tribute to your father. Thanks for sharing!
Holding on to those fond memories & writing them down, helps one get through the day. I still cry over the silliest of things somedays because I'm missing my sister.

You have once again written eloquently, this time about your father who you will think about probably every day for the rest of your life. I know you count your blessings for the good memories, for the experiences, and for the set of virtues he reared you and your brothers with...a great legacy. ~ Susan
