We all know we'll have to face losing our parents one day, but it doesn't make it any easier. My dad died 12 yrs ago, and I still wish I could send a card and call and wish him a Happy Father's Day. Nicely written story.

Holding on to those fond memories & writing them down, helps one get through the day. I still cry over the silliest of things somedays because I'm missing my sister.

You have once again written eloquently, this time about your father who you will think about probably every day for the rest of your life.
