Stacy,
My initial thoughts as I read this poem were to wonder if your husband has read it, too, and if so, what is his opinion? Does he realize how much you love him and yearn for the way things used to be? For the sake of your family, I do hope so.

Hi Sandi,

I'm sorry, I don't know how I missed this one. Yes, Terry has read this. I think it kind of "hit home" so to speak. He knows that he hasn't been completely the same since coming back from the war, but he's trying. He's actually been seing someone for PTSD, but sometimes he thinks he has it and sometimes he doesn't; it all depends. I realize things will never be the same again and we've put our faith in the Lord.

He has his good days and his bad days, just like everyone else I guess!
