Hi Mike,
This story is sure to bring a grin to everybody's face who reads it, and I'm certain many other men can identify with your barbecue tactics. My Dad used to say that an ice-cold beer tasted especially delicious after mowing the lawn on a hot summer day, and I guess you could say the same thing about a cold beer while cooking out on the grille!
You sure did make me hungry for a good steak!

Your dad is correct. A beer after mowing a lawn beats a beer while BBQ'ing. Even better is having a beer after mowing, while BBQ'ing.
