Kathy, as always, your stories about your dad make me so envious. Your description of this last visit with him made me feel as if I were in the kitchen with you, smelling the brownies and listening to the Duke on TV. What a wonderful month of memories you just created. Barbara

Thank you, Barbara! I've been lucky to spend so much time with Dad over the years, and with Mom, too, until her death. We don't do anything exotic, but everyday life is just special when we're together! It's amazing that I didn't know he was a teddy bear until I married and left home. That's probably pretty normal in the scheme of things, ya think?
