Dear Wanda,

Thanks for offering to give a refresher on common grammatical mistakes. Perhaps you could have an ongoing page for grammer tips. I often see "its' used incorrectly. I frequently hear people say "I seen," and a school teacher I know always says "her and I." Another retired teacher recently said "irreguardless." Most of my mistakes are in sentence structure. Thanks for the tips and reminders. Veronica

Wanda,

This is a very good refresher for anyone who is even remotely a writer. Nothing annoys me more than incorrect grammar usage. I am as guilty as the next person in some situations, but the key is being open to understanding. We are never too old to learn to do things the correct way.

I hope others find this article as useful as I did.

Thank you.

Thanks for the refresher course in grammar. Each and every one of us can use it. One of my pet peeves is the misuse of your and you're. I have seen it used incorrectly on TV news stations, and it makes me cringe.
