Very memorable poem. As a child, I wished to grow up on a farm. As an adult, I turned our less than two acres into one with numerous critters of all sizes, shapes and colors. That is all history now. Thanks for sharing. Janet

Thank you, Janet, for your kind thouhts. My wife had the privilege of being raised on a farm in New Brunswick. My dad was raised on a farm in norther Quebec, and our daughter and family have a ranch in Alberta. Now when I visit I enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of what they grew up with. I like it. RLP
