Ooooh, I had a beastie of a car once, too. A 1959 Studebaker Lark. What a disaster it was. And it was my very first car that I owned. To add insult to injury, I had to make a monthly car payment to my dad who'd paid for it, and along with that whatever repairs were needed that month. On top of all that it was an ugly army green and no power steering. It definitely made me appreciate my next car, however.

You started my day with a good laugh! I had a beastie car once. I don't remember the make, I've blocked it from my memory. It was an automatic with push buttons instead of a gear shift. It often didn't pay attention when I punched the park button, once continuing on its quest to push over a porch post. Fortunately I got it stopped before it entered the living room. BJ
