What a great story. The visuals are nice and the emotion comes across wonderfully. An excellent story by a great writer.

AHHH! Don't we all "wish we didn't understand!" So well put, Robert!
I recently lost my father under horrid conditions, which makes me relate to this in its entirety.
Toward the end, may we ALL die "well."
Inhumanity toward our neighbors is awful, but how much more so is the inhumanity toward our own blood kin which is running rampant today.
Thank you for a wonderful read!
May God Bless!

quite a lovely piece. I can relate, as my father made the choice to stop his treatement after 7 years and 8 months. And watching my wither away, broke my heart, but I understood why he did it, its not quanity of life....bye quality
