Susan....precious story.Dances are so fun for all ages and at all times, I do believe! And somtimes they leave a lasting memory. I met Breck at a party where we danced. It was an informal setting, but one that I will always remember! Love from Mattie

Susan ~ Would you please stop making me cry! (No--don't!) You have again touched my heart with your wonderful story! I remember that reunion well, and how happy I was those few weeks later to hear about your new-found happiness. (The grandest reunion is yet to come.) You tell a beautiful story! Keep using your gift! Love ya ~ Mary

Dear Susan,
As I re-read your story, it reminded me that nothing really happens by chance or luck. You and Denver were meant to be a couple, and although the dance was far too brief, it was quality time together that has left you with more compassion for the sick, true feelings of sincere love, and a wealth of happy remembrances. Denver would be so pleased that you have shared your story with others, because I know how grateful he was to have finally found happiness in marriage, and he wanted everybody to know it's never too late.
Love you forever!
Sandi.

Really heartwarming story Susan. Thanks for sharing with us. Your years with Denver may have been few, but they sound as if they were filled with love, and I'm sure you wouldn't have missed them for the world.

Hi Susan Hammett Poole,

What a wonderful love story! I'm a firm believer that everything is meant to be...no coincidences. I'm so sorry that you lost him after such a short time.

Well done, Susan. You just keep getting better and better. Great story line with the music included. Keep up the good work and don't forget all the unnecessary words, leaving in only the best.......Kathe

Dear Susan,

Thanks for taking me to that dance with you. In noting your full life before the reunion, you gained a lot of confidence and self-assurance. Enough to ask a man for the last dance. I enjoy your warm, inspirational-style of writing. I look forward to many more. Veronica

How well I remember the planning, the night, and the news that you had a new/old 'beau'! Susan, this is truly a beautiful story, beautifully told, about two beautiful people!

Hello Susan, a good friend of mine will attend her college reunion this coming Friday. I was telling her about your wonderful story and how you asked Denver for the last dance. I've printed your story out to give her. She had surgery for breast cancer almost five years ago and she thinks her romantic days are over. Your story will be an inspiration. Beside all that, how are you? I notice you have not posted anything since May. I miss your stories and I hope you are well. I miss your morale building critiques on Ourecho. Veronica
