Oh WOW Fred......what a piece!!! Your best yet. We must have been doing this in tandem today, for I too have written a small offering that says much the same, but shall post it anyhow. Excellent piece. I also feel for his family. I wonder if he suffered some horrific act that sent him spiraling toward this incident. There must be something more than “not fitting in at school”. BJ

A wonderfully put story. I agree with all you have written. Our society is so to blame. The writing was on the wall many many times, no, one paid any attention to any of the signs. Even his Mom said he was always mentally ill. Don't know why she did not help him. But true he needs our prayers as well as the victims certainly do.
